What will it take to end the killing and destruction in Iraq?



The lies have been exposed, the death toll mounts, the price tag
skyrockets, and new polls show a growing majority of the people of this
country believe the war is a mistake and a quagmire, and that it needs to
end.

Yet Bush and Congress push ahead with plans for billions more in war
funding, permanent military bases in Iraq, and a future of endless war.

For all of the tremendous work that has been done so far, the anti-war
movement now needs to grow larger, stronger, broader, and louder if we are
to stop this insanity. And to do all of this, we need your help.



That's why we're appealing to you today to join our

sustainer program. It's a very concrete, easy way for you to provide United
for Peace and Justice with the financial resources and stability we need to

amount is too small … or too large. You might want to give $25 or $50 or
more each month, or make a commitment of $5 or $10.

We all know this war should never have happened and needs to end now. We
know our troops must be brought home immediately. But we know it won't be
easy to change the empire building policies of this arrogant administration.

in to make sure we can carry out our plan to strengthen and broaden the
anti-war movement and bring the troops home!
