Cosa potevamo aspettarci da questo lemure che impesta  da troppi anni le
cancellerie e i salotti "buoni" di mezzo mondo  , lei  con quella specie di
nosferatu  detto Marco al suo seguito .

Una settimana fa ho lasciato Hong Kong dopo che era apparso chiaro che, per
avere rivelato la verità, la mia libertà e la mia sicurezza erano
minacciate. 
La mia libertà è stata preservata, e questo è stato possibile grazie agli
sforzi di amici vecchi e nuovi, a quelli della mia famiglia, e di altri che
non ho mai incontrato e che probabilmente mai incontrerò. A tutti costoro ho
affidato la mia vita, e loro hanno ricambiato questa fiducia confidando in
me, per cui a queste persone sarò grato per sempre.

Giovedì, il Presidente Obama ha dichiarato al mondo che non avrebbe permessa
alcuna "intromissione" di maneggi diplomatici sul mio caso. 
Eppure, ora viene riportato che, dopo aver promesso di non farlo, il
Presidente ha ordinato al suo vice-Presidente di esercitare pressioni sui
leader delle nazioni a cui ho chiesto protezione di negare le mie istanze di
asilo.
Questo tipo di raggiro da parte di un leader mondiale non è giustizia, né lo
è la pena "extragiudiziale" dell´esilio. 
Questi sono vecchi, pessimi metodi di aggressione politica. Il loro
proposito è di spaventare, non me, ma coloro che verranno dopo di me.
Per decenni gli Stati Uniti d´America sono stati uno dei più accaniti
difensori del diritto umano di chiedere asilo. Purtroppo, questo diritto,
sancito e votato dagli Stati Uniti nell´articolo 14 della Dichiarazione
Universale dei Diritti dell´Uomo, ora viene respinto dall´attuale governo
del mio paese. 
L´amministrazione Obama ha ora adottato la strategia di usare la
cittadinanza come arma. Anche se io non sono stato condannato di nulla, mi
hanno unilateralmente revocato il passaporto, rendendomi una persona senza
nazionalità. Senza alcun ordine giudiziario, l´amministrazione ora cerca di
impedirmi l´esercizio di un diritto fondamentale. Un diritto che appartiene
a tutti. Il diritto di chiedere asilo.
In definitiva, l´amministrazione Obama non ha paura degli "informatori" come
me, come Bradley Manning o come Thomas Drake. Noi siamo apolidi,
imprigionati o impotenti. 
No, l´amministrazione Obama ha paura di voi! Sì, ha paura dell´opinione di
cittadini informati, consapevoli e arrabbiati, che esigono dal governo
costituzionale ciò che era stato loro promesso - e fa bene ad avere paura.
Sono risoluto nelle mie convinzioni e impressionato dai tentativi messi in
atto da così tanti.

La posizione ufficiale dell´Italia

Il ministro degli Esteri italiano, Emma Bonino, riferisce alle Commissioni
riunite alla
Camera: "la richiesta della talpa del Datagate non è ammissibile né dal
punto di vista giuridico né sul piano politico." 
Il programma di Washington? "Non siamo stati coinvolti, né consultati, né
informati".
"Non sussistono le condizioni", né dal punto di vista giuridico né sul piano
politico perché l´Italia possa accettare la richiesta di asilo avanzata da
Edward Snowden. 
Dunque, anche l´Italia respinge ufficialmente la richiesta della talpa del
cosiddetto Datagate, da giorni fermo nell´area transiti dell´aeroporto di
Mosca. 
Ma dall´esponente del governo è arrivato anche l´annuncio che sulla vicenda
si terrà un incontro tra Stati Uniti e Unione Europea, lunedì 8 luglio. E la
precisazione che "...ad oggi non risultano elementi di spionaggio
all´ambasciata italiana a Washington". 
A proposito dell´episodio dell´aereo del Presidente boliviano Evo Morales,
la titolare della Farnesina ha detto che "l´Italia non ha avuto nulla a che
fare". 
Bonino e gli Stati Uniti: "abbiamo bisogno gli uni degli altri."
La richiesta di asilo, ha detto Emma Bonino, è giunta via fax all´ambasciata
italiana di Mosca nella mattinata di martedì 2 luglio. 
Dal punto di vista giuridico, ha aggiunto il ministro Bonino, "la normativa
italiana e quella di molti altri Paesi prevede che la domanda di protezione
internazionale debba essere presentata personalmente alla frontiera o sul
territorio nazionale". 
Sul piano politico il ministro ha spiegato che "il chiarimento delle
questioni sollevate risponde prima di tutto a questo obiettivo comune.
Questa vicenda, se non chiarita, verrebbe a nuocere tanto agli Statunitensi
che a noi, in un momento in cui abbiamo più che mai bisogno gli uni degli
altri".

Commento: una presa di posizione ufficiale, condensato di ipocrisia,
servilismo ed opportunismo
