The Monitoring Network for Human Rights (MHRI), which consists of more than
20 Iraqi organizations for Human Rights, made this report about the crimes
and continuous violations of human rights in Iraq 1. Crimes of War and
Crimes Against Humanity. - First crime: Some of the ugliest crimes
committed by the occupation forces and by Iraqi military units are the ones
committed in the city of Fallujah in the battl! es of November 2004, and
which we summarize in the following: 1. The plundering of health care
centers and their destruction by bombing as has taken place in the "Taleb
Al-Janabi" hospital and in the Central Clinic. Further the Central Hospital
was occupied; the staff and everyone in the hospital at that time were
arrested. Ambulances in the city have been bombed and the rescue teams were
hindered from entering the city, among them the convoy of the Ministry of
Health, despite of the fact that more than 50,000 civilians still remained
in the city. 2. Internationally prohibited weapons were used in the bombing
of the city, such as phosphoric weapons, Napalm, bombs containing unknown
gases, causing the blood to explode out of bodies...

Judith Miller's Farewell, what she should have said

To the Editor: On July 6, I chose to go to jail to resurrect my flagging
career and protect a criminal cabal that tricked the country into war by
using false information. My decision was defended in the Times in 15
separate editorials extolling my willingness to obstruct a grand jury
investigation in the outing of a CIA agent. I successfully hid behind the
1st amendment, even though the law clearly allows no such exception, and I
protected high ! ranking officials who endangered national security by
passing along classified information to the press. I chose to go to jail
rather than expose a criminal conspiracy of which I was a vital part, and
to attract the sympathy of those who were confused by the details of the
case...

Only few days ago the US Ministry of Defense had downward corrected the
published number of US soldiers wounded in the Iraq without comment around
638 . A similar error occurred in a message of the "American Forces presses
service", which was published on Thursday on the Website of the US Ministry
of Defense. In, the original version of the message archived by
GlobalSecurity it, bombs meant "over half of all in the Iraq killing would
have killed -! more than 8,100 soldiers - according to statistics of the
pentagon." Only one day later, on Friday, also this message was changed
again without comment...

AL-DOURI WILL LEAVE A GREAT LEGACY

gets into chemistry. Let's take a look at the Winnebagos of Death. You will
remember these as the mobile biological weapons laboratories in Iraq so
dramatically described by Colin Powell before the UN in February of 2003.
"We have firsthand descriptions," said Powell, "of biological weapons

moved and are designed to evade detection by inspectors. In a matter of
months, they can produce a quantity of biological poison equal to the

fundamentally change the situation for the people of Iraq. The proposed
legislation continues the scenario whereby the US-created government in
Baghdad is answerable to Washington and not to the Iraqi people. It
replaces one set of foreign troops with another. It enhances the power of
the Iraqi military and it allows the continued presence of US cover! t
operators (and private companies in their employ) inside Iraq. Indeed, it
makes the likelihood of enhanced use of covert ops more likely in the
absence of traditional military assaults. Most important of all, this bill
continues to deny the Iraqi people their sovereignty. The resolution is not
about guaranteeing Iraqi self-determination; it's about the continued
determination of Iraq's future by Washington and its co-conspirators...

US Army Article Confirms White Phosphorous Use In Fallujah

A March '05 publication by the US Army confirms that US soldiers used white
phosphorus offensively in the Battle of Fallujah. This directly contradicts
statements made by the U.S. Department of Defense and by the US State
Department. The new discovery also backs up the allegations made in an
Italian documentary screened this week concerning the use of white
phosphorous in Fallujah. The broadcast shows video of a! U.S. helicopter
repeatedly raining down a bombardment of white phosphorus across Fallujah
at night. The U.S. State Department had previously released a statement
categorically denying all use of white phosphorus during the battle of
Fallujah except for illumination purposes. This confirms several firsthand
reports from news sources at the time of the invasion...
