...We are losing this War in Iraq and I believe, even though we took that
city and killed several hundred Iraqi fighters, we have lost this battle.
There is no way that we could win, when we displace hundreds of thousands
of innocent people, kill who knows how many innocent civilians who couldn't
leave for one reason or another, and destroy much of a huge metropolitan
area. The whole world sees what were are doing and they have to ask is the
price the innocent people! had to pay worth it so that the United States

Fears mount for families inside Fallujah

Humanitarian officials are increasingly concerned about civilians still
trapped inside Fallujah as well as thousands of refugees who fled their
homes in advance of the US decision to take the city by force. They said
that residents who were too old, sick or poor to leave the city had been

Allawi accuses al-Jazeera of violating its work embargo in Iraq

The Iraqi interim prime minister Eyad Allawi renewed his criticism against
al-Jazeera TV and accused it in his recent statement of violating the law
that provides for banning it from working in Iraq. In an interview with
"al-Arabia" TV, Allawi said that al-Jazeera still practices its work on the
Iraqi territories despite the embargo imposed on it. He threatened to take

American soldier killed, helicopter downed in Falluja

One American soldier was killed and other three injured in fighting with
gunmen to the south of Falluja to the west of Baghdad (...) In another
development, news reports said that one American military copter fell in
Amereyat al-Falluja, while gunmen implanted an ambush for an America
vehicle near the same area and were able to destroy a military vehicle.
These developments came at a time when the American and Iraqi forces say
they are trying to! end the last resistance pockets in the city...

Fallujah, the New York Times has misreported the facts about the April 2004
invasion of the city and the toll it took on Iraqi civilians. On November
8, the Times reported: "In April, American troops were closing in on the
city center when popular uprisings broke out in cities across Iraq. The
outrage, fed by mostly unconfirmed reports of large civilian! casualties,
forced the Americans to withdraw. American commanders regarded the reports
as inflated, but it was impossible to determine independently how many
civilians had been killed"...

...And what will happen now? A criminal investigation against a single
Marine who did the shooting? Just like what happened with the Abu Ghraib
atrocities? A couple of people will be blamed and the whole thing will be
buried under the rubble of idiotic military psychologists, defense

the end, all anyone will remember is that a single Marine shot and killed a
