Three COs

Dear Friends,

I apologise for repeating some of the information sent out in previous
updates. These repetitions are made for the benefit of new people added to
the list of recipients.


Yesterday I told you we now have two conscientious objectors held in
military prisons in Israel. Now I can tell you of the third. His name is
Hedai Levi, He is 31 years old. He objects to doing reserves service in the
Occupied Territories, and is held in Military Prison No. 4 in Tzrifin.

The information about Hedai Levi reached us through conscientious objector
Ido Harari, who met him in prison. Ido himself is now also held in Military
Prison No 4. He reported that he feels well and is in good spirit. Ido is
due to be out of prison on 14 Apr, and is likely to be imprisoned again
after release.

Finally, conscientious objector Gabby Wolf continues to spend his second
consecutive prison term. He is held in Military Prison No. 6 in Atlit and is
due to be released on 10 May. He too is likely to be imprisoned again, for
the third time, soon after release.

Please send appeals on behalf of all three to the addresses/faxes/e-mails
below, protesting their imprisonment, protesting the practice of imprisoning
conscientious objectors and/or backing their moral decision not to support
Israel's use and abuse of military force.

Also, please send letters and postcards of encouragement to the prison
addresses of the three objectors.
