Dear President Clinton:

The Porcupine Caribou herd that rely on the coastal plain of the Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge are the same species as Santa's reindeer. But their
calving grounds are threatened by the oil companies who want to open coastal
plain to drilling.

Please designate this spectacular landscape a National Monument. It would be
a fitting gift to the nation this holiday season!
