RESEARCHERS GET TO ROOT OF SOIL REMEDIATION
A research team at Purdue University has pioneered the use
of plants to help clean up soil contaminated with petroleum
products. The team is currently using their methods to clean
several petroleum spill sites across the nation with help
from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the petroleum
industry.
