Intrecci: sguardi sul mondo n. 6/2005-2006 - Educare all'ambiente (14'30")

L'inquinamento con i conseguenti cambiamenti climatici - siccità e aumento
della desertificazione, tempeste, alluvioni, depauperamento delle risorse
idriche - compromette il delicato equilibrio del nostro pianeta.
E' necessario creare una nuova sensibilità sul piano dell'informazione e
dell'educazione. Il terzo Congresso mondiale sull'educazione ambientale,
svoltosi a Torino, é stata l'occasione per confrontarsi su questi temi,
attraverso esempi concreti nei vari paesi del nord e del sud del mondo; con
particolari testimonianze delle popolazioni indigene, da sempre attente
alla salvaguardia dell'ambiente naturale, unica loro fonte di vita.

Intrecci
il magazine televisivo mensile sui problemi dello sviluppo e i rapporti tra
nord e sud del mondo, distribuito dal gennaio 2000 ad un circuito di 110
televisioni locali, è giunto alla quinta puntata della nuova serie.

Nelle 39 puntate realizzate tra il 2000 e il 2003, disponibili tutte in
videocassetta, abbiamo affrontato temi quali: rifugiati, globalizzazione,
debito, diritti umani, flussi migratori, bambini, emergenze umanitarie,
ambiente e sviluppo, donne rurali, l'altra Africa, Pechino +5, "In
cammino", "Solidarietà a distanza", "Acqua", "Un altro mondo è possibile?",

Nelle prime cinque puntate del 2005-2006: "I Liguri e il Pacifico", "L'anno
del microcredito", "Il futuro della scienza", "La salute del pianeta" e "I
nostri emigranti".

Intrecci
è il primo tentativo organico in Italia di dare voce e volti alla realtà
del sud del mondo, nei suoi contatti con la nostra; per allargare gli
"sguardi" su un mondo sempre più interdipendente, e offrire temi di
discussione sui grandi problemi, ancora irrisolti alle soglie del nuovo
millennio.
E' promosso dalla ONG Gruppo per le Relazioni Transculturali, con il
sostegno del Ministero degli Affari Esteri - Direzione Generale per la
Cooperazione allo sviluppo, ed
è realizzato dall'Associazione URIHI, a cura di Giovanna Cossia e Marco De

Knots: glimpse on the world no. 5/2005-2006 - Environment education (14'30")
Pollution, together with climate changes' consequences - such as drought,
desertification, storms, floods, water resources impoverishment - affects
the fragile balance of our planet's health.
It is important to create a new awareness both from the information and the
education viewpoint.
The third world Conference on environment education, held in Turin, has
been the occasion to compare opinions on this matter through actual
examples in various countries of the North and South of the world, with
special witnesses gathered among indigenous people, who have always taken
care of natural environment preservation, their unique life source.
Intrecci
the monthly TV magazine on development issues and the relation between the
North and the South of the world, distributed, as from January 2000 by ADN
Kronos to some 100 local TV networks, has started again.

slavery", "Information and development", "Far from home", "Voices from

"Voices and faces of forgotten wars", "AnotherTV is possible?", "Working
children" and "Water, a common good".

These are the first 5 episodes of the Tv serial of 2005-2006: "The
Ligurians and the Pacific", "The year of microcredit", "Science's future" ,
"Planet's health" and "Our emigrants".

Intrecci
is the first attempt in Italy to show the everyday life of the South of the
world and to find points of contact with our reality. The spectators have
the possibility to make suggestions and proposals and this will help to
broaden our glances out onto a world which is more and more interdependent.
They will also be offered the opportunity to discuss problems still
unsolved at the beginning of the new millennium.
