Syrian Armed Groups Admit Participation in Massacre

Damascus, Jul 14 (Prensa Latina) Members of armed groups who occupied
the village of al-Tremseh, in northern Syria, on Saturday admitted
their participation in actions against the local people that ended in
the massacre used by the West to attack the Syrian government.

The rebels Hekmat Shehadeh, Moustafa Younis, Saed Darwish, Ramy
Abdel-Salam Darwish and Mohammed Sattof confessed their affiliation
with those armed gangs, of which some 300 members were deployed in the
village of al-Tremseh, northwest of the city of Hama, 209 kilometers
from Damascus.

In statements to local television after being captured by the Syrian
Army, the terrorists said that the group includes armed men from other
countries, including Libya and Turkey.

They added that they had received orders to attack the positions of
government forces and prevent citizens from going to work.

They also confessed they had a large arsenal of light and medium-size
weapons, including machine guns, RPG rocket launchers, grenades and
mortars, among others.

They added that they used snipers on the roofs of all houses to attack
the Army and the citizens who refused to stay home and go to work.

At present, western media and politicians accuse Syrian authorities to
commit that massacre against civilians, ignoring the actions by armed
gangs, which they describe as "poor civilians murdered by the
government forces."
