One option is ruled out for Iran: war

President Obama said a few days ago: "I will take no option off the table to prevent  Iran

from getting a nuclear weapon".

We think that one option should be unconditionally excluded, that of war.
The war, human butchery, intentional killing, organized, and now also scientifically and
technologically sophisticated, man slaughtering man.

No war is right, no war can be tolerated.
The Charter of the United Nations – to be followed by all the states that have ratified it,
and first among them by the United States who strongly wanted it –
states that conflicts between peoples must not be solved through war but through negotiation.

 

Therefore we must negotiate with Iran. Many nations, the largest above all, but the others too, all the nations, must be engaged in these negotiations. Iran must be surrounded, wrapped, besieged, and convinced.
The deal must be benevolent, fraternal, non-threatening, threats must be excluded.

Besides, who can say that Iran has no right to have atomic weapons? If other nations have them..
If there is a club of atomic nations that have produced the madness of tens of thousands of weapons;
and then they established a Treaty on the Non-proliferation, that is, that others can not have what they have.
Is that a right? A right to destroy on a huge scale, can be a right?
The right to destroy them, and them alone, these nations, is it possible that this be a right?

 

There is only one solution: the abolition of atomic weapons once and for all, without exception.
This is what  a President awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize should be committed to .
This must be the first point of his electoral program.

Una opzione è esclusa per l’Iran: la guerra

 

Il Presidente Obama ha detto, nei giorni scorsi: “Non escludiamo nessuna opzione per impedire che l’Iran abbia l’atomica”.

 

Pensiamo che una opzione debba essere incondizionatamente esclusa, quella della guerra.

La guerra, il macello umano, l’uccisione intenzionale, organizzata, e oggi anche scientificamente e tecoologicamente sofisticata; l’uomo che massacra l’uomo.

 

Nessuna guerra è giusta, nessuna guerra può essere tollerata.

Lo Statuto delle Nazioni Unite – cui devono attenersi tutti gli stati che l’hanno ratificato,

e primi tra essi gli Stati Uniti che l’hanno fortemente voluto –

stabilisce che i conflitti tra popoli non si risolvono con la guerra ma con la trattativa.

 

Perciò con l’Iran si deve trattare. Molte nazioni, le più grandi anzitutto, ma anche le altre, tutte, devono impegnarsi nella trattativa. L’Iran dev’essere circondato, avvolto, assediato, convinto.

La trattativa dev’essere benevola, fraterna, non minacciosa; la minaccia dev’essere esclusa.

 

Del resto, chi può dire che l’Iran non ha il diritto di avere l’arma atomica? se altre nazioni l’hanno.

Se esiste un club di nazioni atomiche che hanno prodotto la follia di decine di migliaia di ordigni;

e poi hanno stabilito un trattato di non-proliferazione, che cioè gli altri non possono avere ciò che esse hanno.

È questo il diritto? il diritto alla distruzione più ampia possibile può essere un diritto?

il diritto a distruggere esse ed esse sole, queste nazioni, può essere un diritto?

 

Non v’è che una soluzione: l’abolizione dell’armamento atomico per tutti, nessuno escluso.

In questo dovrebbe impegnarsi un Presidente insignito del Premio Nobel per la pace.

Questo dovrebb’essere il primo punto del suo programma elettorale.
