natura del movimento di resistenza iracheno. La campagna di propaganda !
dell'amministrazione consiste nel ritrarre quelli che combattono contro
l'occupazione USA come dei "terroristi islamici". Il fatto che conta è che
il "fondamentalismo islamico", compresa la sua serie di fondazioni e
associazioni di beneficenza fuori dell'Arabia Saudita, non sostengono il
movimento di resistenza in Iraq. Infatti, è proprio il contrario...

FALLUJA: LA GUERNICA D'AMERICA

..."Guernica" è tornata. Questa volta non sono i Nazisti della Luftwaffe
che gettano bombe su un villaggio in Spagna, ma sono gli U.S.A. che
scagliano bombe e che massacrano centinaia di civili, incluse donne e
bambini, nella città di Fallujah in Iraq. Come Franco in "Guernica",
l'esercito degli U.S.A. nega di aver designato i civili come bersaglio, ma
dall'Iraq stanno filtrando report censurati e dicono che oltre la metà
delle moschee nella città sono state ridotte i! n rovine e che i Marine
degli Stati Uniti stanno facendo uso di gas letali contro i difensori della
città, una pratica che sta inoltre causando un massiccio numero di vittime
fra i civili che rimangono a Fallujah...

A Falluja muore anche la libertà di stampa

Sembrerebbe che la cosa più difficile per gli Usa nella battaglia di
Falluja, nonostante le precauzioni prese, sia stata quella di non far
trapelare nulla sulla strage di civili. In parte ci sono riusciti, sono
pochissimi i giornalisti che hanno potuto riportare informazioni sulla
condizione della popolazione (Fadhil Badrani per la BBC, e
involontariamente l'operatore nella NBC). Nessuno dei media si preoccupa di
chiedere il numero dei morti civili, o d! i fare semplicemente due conti su
chi siano realmente i 1600 morti ammessi dal Pentagono. Questo risultato è
stato raggiunto accettando solo i giornalisti al seguito delle truppe Usa
(i famosi embedded), nonostante da Falluja fosse giunto nei giorni
precedenti un appello della comunità locale ai media, di venire a
testimoniare...

...Dicono che la gente non ha niente da mangiare. Nessun prodotto agricolo
entra nella città e da giorni e giorni l'acqua è stata tagliata. Sapete
cosa significa non avere acqua pulita??? La gente beve acqua contaminata e
prende la diarrea e altre malattie. Nelle strade ci sono cadaveri perché
nessuno può rischiare di uscire di casa per seppellire la gente. Le
famiglie stanno seppellendo i figli e i genitori nei giardini delle loro
case. DOVE! SONO TUTTI??? Inoltre, dov'è Sistani? Perché non dice qualcosa
sulla situazione? Quando il sud è stato attaccato, i religiosi sunniti
dovunque hanno condannato gli attacchi...

close range, execution-style, an injured person who, according to the
journalist himself, was severely injured, unarmed and did not pose any
imminent threat. In fact, several other Iraqis were reportedly found in

Iraqi Physician Confirms US Chemical Weapons Use In Fallujah

Anger that is seething throughout Iraq and the world over the assault of
Fallujah turn to rage yesterday as an Iraqi physician came forward to
confirm reports of the use of banned chemical weapons in Fallujah. Speaking
on the condition of anonymity to the Panorama radio station, the physician
said he had just examined two dead bodies and confirmed that the victims
died of banned chemical weapons. The physician found no evidence! of bullet
wounds, shrapnel, or any objects penetrating the bodies...

Fighting in Fallujah ongoing, Mosul attack planned

A US Marine and an Iraqi soldier have been killed in Fallujah as 17 other
people died in attacks elsewhere in Iraq and marine intelligence warned
that the insurgency would grow despite massive offensives to crush the
rebels. The fighting comes as Iraqi and US force prepare to an assault on
the northern city of Mosul and a US Marine intelligence report warns that
any significant troop withdrawal from Fallujah would strengthen the

sacrifice required is far more than the lives of a group of fighters, and
that is why Falluja has chosen to carry the flag of resistance in Iraq, in
the clear knowledge it may be wiped out (...) But the inhabitants of this
great city wanted to send a message to decision makers in the US that
coexisting with the occupiers is not possible. They wanted to tell US
