"International Peace Film Festival" is a moving festival planned for the
first time either 10-21 December 2003 or January (10-21) 2004 in India and
will be organized under the auspices and sponsorship of "World Film
Promotion", "World Peace Association"  (non-profit organization) and the
worldwide management committee of the "International Peace Film Festival".
Indian national Mr.Prakash Sharma as a creator of this project is the
Managing Director or the president of this event which will be organized in
association with Indian & international film industry, NGO's working for
world peace. This festival will be held in India in Mumbai as a main venue
and simultaneously will be held in other 2 states in India.
At the same time international peace conferences, forums, seminars,
discussions, press conferences would be organize by "World Peace
Association" in which several world organizations, institutions,
non-governmental organizations, politicians and associations working for
world peace, disarmaments, peace education etc including human rights and
various socio-political organizations would participate.
We would be bringing films which reflects internal and external peace,
films concerning human, social, international problems or conflict etc
Besides these, there will be official and non-official sections including
the premiers of the films not yet shown anywhere.
It includes many other sections with prizes, awards, and gifts to several
film industry people and would also issue diplomas, appreciation and
participation certificate to all-important NGOs for their valuable
contributions.
The director or president of this festival and/ or event is Indian national
Mr. Prakash Sharma, versatile, multi-faceted and multilingual fluent in
English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Russian including several
Indian languages. He has lived in several countries of the world thereby
acquiring global experience. He made strong base and background in the
areas of world film industry as well as in the sector of international
peace.
His credentials, expertise in international development and multilingual
communication abilities in several languages of the world would certainly
be an asset as a leader and organizer of this meeting. He has invested
time, energy, efforts and finance in order to get this international
background now it is time to exploit creative, useful and practical ideas.
Besides these, he has 12 years of experience in the international film
industry, attended many film festivals globally with several years of
working experience as an international peace activist and presently NGO
representative at United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and at UN in Vienna
for the problems related with international conflict, disarmaments, world
peace and peace education etc. Presently developing the structure of "World
Peace Association". Which will have worldwide chapters.
We need your help, guidance, and expertise and advise for the promotion of
such kind of activity. We are ready to accept critical appreciation, any
modification and your support in the realization of these plans for the
collaboration between us. Considering the present misbalanced world,
non-harmonious situation and conflicts it is time for all of us to unite
under one roof.
Cinema can influence the world in a rapid way for having peace on the
earth. We are planning "International Peace Film Festival" to be organized
in India under the auspices of "World Peace Embassy" in Mumbai with the
help of Bollywood and Indian film industry. The festival will have soon
headquarters in Mumbai and branch offices abroad.
Films based on war peace, national and international conflicts, and any
other famous films which can be based on spiritual and moral aspects of
society.  We can show the films and videos on war and peace to educate the
world. Films based on inner or outer world, which reflects internal and
external peace having humanitarian principles, values, peace, tranquillity
and calmness. All depends on the selection criteria of the promotion of
such ideals.
Thereby, uniting the world film industry with international NGO's working
for the world peace. We can decide it by forming the committee members,
which consist of experience people from the global film industry and
leading peace NGO's, associations, organizations, institutions and
universities. This special commission in order to realize this project
under the auspices of "World Film Promotion" will be headed by Mr.Prakash
Sharma. Moreover, by inviting the international specialists in order to
organize and to give the shape and structure to promote this festival.
Also the funds will be raised to establish and expand the horizons of
"World Peace Association", the NGO having head office in Bombay, India with
would like to open the main branch in Geneva, Switzerland and opening
branches or representation in several countries of the world. To promote
the culture of peace and educate the masses by the way of organizing
debate, seminars, talks, conferences, international peace film festival
etc. and also invite media industry for the coverage of this event.
Peace: To invite many NGO working for world peace, world leaders, spiritual
and religious organizations. Film: It will be a private festival in
collaboration with Government of India, Indian Film Industry and foreign
film festival authorities and global committee to start with.
The festival is under the process of getting support of various
international & national motion picture associations, film clubs, film
festival authorities, government of India and other governments including
NGO's, Charitable institutions, producers, directors and actors
associations etc.
Urgent action and positive reply with support needed. We are planning to
hold this meeting soon in order to decide the exact dates. Face to face
visits would facilitate to make specific commitments with mutual
acceptance. Our meetings aim is to make available all necessities, give
peaceful world and international developed global environment or plans to
all common people on the earth.
Through these efforts of our first meeting we invite you to join us in the
peace process. We believe strongly that you and I we both can lessen the
human sufferings, problems and make the world the better place for you and
me and for the entire human being. We look forward to you as potential
ally. The effectiveness of this project depends on you, only on you, your
power, and your desire to lead the life peacefully. We demand directly the
international support, advice and backing.
It's important that we began to assess our real strengths and weakness,
develop appropriate means for deploying our forces, and determine long
range plans for what will be in our interest for living life in peace,
harmony and safety. Our organization would like to work in close
relationship with its offices of UNO in Geneva. The combination of above
facts would certainly give us quick positive results in the long term.
One has to start, initiate and realize practically these things.
I expect full cooperation, funding and support in order to facilitate me to
overcome the obstacles. To discuss in depth and collaborate I can fly in
any corner of the world provided you sponsor my visit in this way we will
have personal touch and we could report the matter directly to each other
without any difficulties.
We will need funds to consult others that have expertise on the subject
matter. To hold this first world conference with International peace film
festival what type of expertise, people, funds you provide so that we start
realizing this project. We are working hard to make this happen rapidly. I

peace and leaders of leading NGO's and institutions or organizations

this way we set up a pre-meeting with world specialists. Prepare materials
and professional website in several languages of the world. Any
suggestions, advises and practical ideas for the realization of this
project to make it memorable would be appreciated.

and discuss with world specialists. I am in a process to establish agenda
and goals. We will focus on some particular issues and we decide what kind

is planned either Dec 2003 or January 2004.

Important part of this festival will be NGO's , charitable institutions,
peace associations, clubs and civil societies, other institutions including
universities etc.Any charitable organization or non profit association
working for world peace will be the part of this event.

The "International Peace Film Festival" (IPFF) is open to the entire world
film community, including agents, attorneys, bankers, directors,
distributors, festival directors, film commissioners, filmmakers,
producers, writers, film actors, artists TV industry and all those who
provide services to the motion picture industry.The festival is under the
process of getting support of various international & national motion
picture associations, film clubs, film festival authorities, government of
india and other governments.

As the director of this event "International Peace Film Festival" I would
like to know what kind of support, assistance, help, collaboration you can
provide us. Besides these, what kind of seminars you would like to organize
in India. How many people from your organization could fly with their own
cost ? Participants would stay at their own cost but the three course meal
will be provided or sponsored by us.

There is possibility of changes in the facilities provided by us may be
during the course of year we may be able to sponsor the accomodation too.
Well, it all depends. We are also trying our best to get sponsorer for
accomodating our guests in hotel.
