ecco l’email all’org USA, informatevi belli!

Dear Dr. Mahmoud,

We sincerely appreciate the time and effort that all supporters have given to help support UNICEF's efforts in Syria and the surrounding region. We are grateful for that continued support and for the funds and awareness that the Walk for Children of Syria generated.

Because of the ongoing controversy that is in existence between the organizations that are working on the upcoming November 17 walks, we have decided not to move forward with having an on-site presence at these walks. While organizations/walkers can certainly choose to support UNICEF's efforts, and we welcome that support, we will not be able to approve the usage of our logo or provide human resources to support these events. Please note that the website -www.unicefusa.org/walkforsyria - will remain active as a way for supporters of UNICEF's efforts in Syria to make an online donation.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Again, we are appreciative of all of our supporters' efforts and hope that you will continue to advocate for the world's children.

Dear Mahmoud,

Thank you for your email. Would you be available for a phone conversation later today? As you know, the U.S. Fund for UNICEF has 8 Global Citizenship Fellows across the country who have agreed to be on site in the city of their walks to help collect funds and distribute information regarding UNICEF’s efforts in the region. We have been in contact with Jay from Rise4Humanity regarding the logistics of having the Fellows on site and in coordinating that the funds raised on site were sent to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Is there a different contact point that we should be in touch with regarding the Fellows’ participation? The cities where they can be on site are as follows:

· Atlanta

· Boston

· New York City

· Houston

· San Francisco

· Los Angeles

· Chicago

· Washington, DC

Also, I had mentioned to Jay that there may be a possibility to send one additional U.S. Fund for UNICEF staff person to another city that is not listed above, should the fundraising potential be very high. For that to happen, I would look to you to provide us with the requested city to have a UNICEF representative, and the expected attendance of that event.

I have set up a dedicated fundraising page for participants and interested parties atwww.unicef.org/walkforsyria. On this page, people can donate directly to UNICEF’s efforts in Syria and the surrounding region online. Please feel free to link this page with the UNICEF logo that appears on your page. Please also feel free to share this link on your site as a way for people to donate directly.

I would love to get an update on how best to move forward in working together. We very much appreciate the work that your group is doing and has done for the children of Syria. I just want to be sure, though, that any disagreements between Syrian American Alliance and Rise4Humanity do not involve the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and that the Fellows who have agreed to be on site at the walks will not be affected. Please feel free to be in touch at your earliest convenience.

All my best,

Lacey

Come leggete qui:
