COMUNICADO DE PRENSA DEL PARTIDO HUMANISTA (ESPAÑA).

 

Aminatou Haidar, defensora de los Derechos Humanos de los saharauis, fue expulsada a España por el gobierno de Marruecos. El Partido Humanista se ha solidarizado con la demanda de Haidar y ha valorado positivamente el uso de métodos no violentos en la reivindicación de sus derechos. Los humanistas exigen la celebración del referéndum de autodeterminación en el Sáhara.

El Partido Humanista ha emitido un nuevo comunicado sobre la situación de la defensora de los derechos humanos del pueblo saharaui Aminatou Haidar, en huelga de hambre en el aeropuerto de Lanzarote desde hace más de 20 días, reclamando su retorno al Sáhara Occidental, de donde fue expulsada por el gobierno marroquí.

Nacho Martínez, Secretario de Relaciones Institucionales, ha leído un comunicado manifestando la opinión de su partido. En dicho documento, se dice: “Los humanistas compartimos sin matices la exigencia de Aminatou Haidar de regresar a su tierra, el Sáhara Occidental, para reencontrarse con los suyos. Comprendemos y apoyamos la negativa a aceptar las compensaciones que le ofrece el Gobierno español, como el estatuto de refugiada o la nacionalidad española, tratando de tapar la gravísima ilegalidad cometida al obligarla a ingresar en territorio español en vez de disponer su retorno, en aplicación de la legislación vigente, a su lugar de procedencia, El Aaiún".

En otro párrafo, se expresa: "Reiteramos nuestra exigencia de que se dé pronto cumplimiento a las resoluciones del Consejo de Seguridad y la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas y que, en consonancia con ello, se celebre a la mayor brevedad un referéndum de autodeterminación que permita a los saharauis formar, si así lo desean, su propio Estado".

"Reclamamos al Gobierno de España -sigue el comunicado- que muestre ante el Gobierno de Marruecos firmeza en la exigencia de respeto a los Derechos Humanos en todo el territorio en el que, de iure o de facto, ejerce su autoridad y que acepte el retorno de Aminatou Haidar a su tierra, garantizando su seguridad física y el pleno ejercicio de sus derechos fundamentales".

Y desde sus posiciones pacíficas, se dice: "Los humanistas consideramos la demanda de Haidar totalmente justa, y apreciamos, porque se corresponde con nuestros principios, el uso de métodos no violentos para defenderla.
