Intrecci: sguardi sul mondo n. 8/2006 - Comunicare e informare (15'20')

La puntata si apre e si chiude con un'intervista al premio Nobel per
l'economia Amartya Sen, che sottolinea l'importanza di un sistema
democratico dell'informazione per lottare contro povertà e ingiustizie.
Prosegue con interviste a giornalisti africani e italiani sull'importanza
di una stampa libera e non "catastrofista", e della collaborazione tra
giornalisti del nord e del sud del mondo per favorire la conoscenza
reciproca tra le diverse realtà sempre più interdipendenti.
Dalla stampa alla radio, come strumento di comunicazione democratica, di
base e a basso costo, sia per i produttori sia per gli utilizzatori: con
interviste ed esempi, dal Brasile al Rwanda, a un convegno internazionale
promosso da Radio Popolare, una delle prime storiche emittenti libere
italiane.
Il tutto nell'ipotesi di costruire un'alleanza tra media del nord e del sud
del mondo, per colmare il gap informativo che ancora li separa.
Intrecci
il magazine televisivo mensile sui problemi dello sviluppo e i rapporti tra
nord e sud del mondo, distribuito dal gennaio 2000 ad un circuito di 110
televisioni locali, è giunto alla ottava puntata della nuova serie.

Nelle prime sette puntate del 2005-2006: "I Liguri e il Pacifico", "L'anno

nostri emigranti", "Educare all'ambiente" e "America ieri".

Intrecci
è il primo tentativo organico in Italia di dare voce e volti alla realtà
del sud del mondo, nei suoi contatti con la nostra; per allargare gli
"sguardi" su un mondo sempre più interdipendente, e offrire temi di
discussione sui grandi problemi, ancora irrisolti alle soglie del nuovo
millennio.
E' promosso dalla ONG Gruppo per le Relazioni Transculturali, con il
sostegno del Ministero degli Affari Esteri - Direzione Generale per la
Cooperazione allo sviluppo, ed
è realizzato dall'Associazione URIHI, a cura di Giovanna Cossia e Marco De

Knots: glimpes on the world no. 8/2006 - Communication and information (15'20")

The video begins and ends with an interview with the Nobel Prize in
Economics Amartya Sen, who emphasizes the importance of a democratic
information system in order to fight against poverty and social
inequalities.
Other interviews follow with African and Italian reporters about the weight
of a free press - not a "catastrophist" information - and the collaboration
among North and South of the world's journalists, with a view to foster the
mutual knowledge between different and more and more interdependent
realities.
>From the press to the radio, as a fundamental and cheap instrument of

All this with a view to building up an alliance between North and South of
the world's media, in order to fill in the information gap which still
divides them.

North and the South of the world, distributed, as from January 2000 by ADN
Kronos to some 100 local TV networks, has started again.

Intrecci
is the first attempt in Italy to show the everyday life of the South of the
world and to find points of contact with our reality. The spectators have
the possibility to make suggestions and proposals and this will help to
broaden our glances out onto a world which is more and more interdependent.
They will also be offered the opportunity to discuss problems still
unsolved at the beginning of the new millennium.
