periodi di tempo, ogni volta senza saperne la ragione. Ma mai avrebbe
immaginato di poter essere arrestato semplicemente perché paralizzato ed in
sedia a rotelle (da 24 anni). Fu ferito nel 1981 nella guerra Iran-Iraq.
Vive con due figlie adolescenti in un villaggio situato a nord di Baghdad.
La prima volta che fu arrestato tornava velocemente dal mercato c! on sua
figlia minore. La sua casa era stata assaltata ed era circondata da jeep
militari e decine di soldati. L'accusarono di aver attaccato un convoglio
militare...

occidentale. Doctors for Iraq Society (Dotti per la società irachena) ti
chiede di agire ORA. I soldati occupanti degli Stati Uniti hanno condotto
delle operazioni militari nelle città ad ovest dell'Iraq. Tra il maggio e
il giugno del 2005, i più duri tra questi attacchi hanno avuto luogo nelle
città di Haditha ed Al-Qa'im. Queste città e i villaggi! della periferia
sono casa di almeno 300.000 persone. I testimoni oculari e il personale
medico dell'area hanno descritto come i soldati statunitensi abbiano
impedito che cibo e medicinali raggiungessero Haditha ed Al-Qa'im, oltre ad
aver sparato agli ospedali principali delle due città, allo staff medico e

words, “Bring ‘em on,” in response to a reporter’s question about the
dismaying frequency of a supposedly vanquished foe in Iraq. On that day,
only 65 American troops had been killed since May, when George W. Bush was
flown onto the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln to deliver a victory speech,
backgrounded by a huge sign t! hat stated, “Mission Accomplished.” A lot
has happened since them. Most significantly, no mission has been
accomplished, and the Iraqi resistance apparently accepted his challenge to
“Bring ‘em on”...

the threat that Iraq posed. However, there has been little analysis as to
whether specific fraudulent statements about Iraq violated any specific
criminal statutes, and thus are worthy of impeachment. A 23-page memorandum
provides an analysis of one of the Bush Administration's fraudulent claims,
the claim that I! raq had recently sought uranium for a nuclear weapon. In
summary that analysis of the current public record (including the Senate
intelligence committee's report of last summer) and the law reveals not
only that the uranium claims were fraudulent but arguably violated two
criminal statutes, 18 U.S.C., Sec. 1001 and 18 U.S.C., Sec. 371, that
prohibit making fraudulent statements to Congress and obstructing the
functions of Congress...

Three Iraqi armed organizations want Ayham al-Samerai dead

received death threats from three armed organizations accusing him of

Iraq UN ambassador says US Marines killed cousin

Iraq's U.N. ambassador accused U.S. Marines on Friday of firing at and
killing his cousin in cold blood during a house raid near the western town
of Haditha on June 25. Ambassador Samir Sumaidaie, a supporter of the
United States, said Mohammed al-Sumaidaie, the son of his first cousin, was
shot by Marines during a raid at his father's house in the village of
Al-Shaikh Hadid, near a U.S. military base at the Haditha Dam. "All
indications point to a killing ! of an unarmed innocent civilian -- a cold
blooded murder," Sumaidaie said...
