Informazioni logistiche per chi va a genova

All the groups going to Genoa are INVITED to send an e-mail message  to:
bedding at genoa-g8.org
stating
-"name" of the group
-number of partecipants (from 3 to 1500....)
-planned date of arrival
-e-mail address or telephone number of a contact person

These information will help us to get an idea of the number of people
expected

Please find a list of 'special trains' and other means of transport at:

Accomodation will be indoor and outdoor. Sleeping bag compulsory, camping
tent appreciated (there will be the possibility to camp on green spaces
around town). All the accommodation areas will have sanitary services (wc, 
water
etc..)
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN GENOA
If you do not have an accommodation arranged you will have to go to the
'convergence Center', an area located in Piazzale Kennedy. Which is a place
easy to find and close to Stazione Brignole train station
At the Convergence center you will be able to find:
- Food and drink stalls
- Info stalls with programmes and maps
- Volunteers who will sort out your group to the allocated accomodations

Please note that it will be absolutely necessary that the contact person
should be the only member of the group to deal with the "sorting out
procedure".  The contact person will tell the volunteers how many people
(group's members) need an accomodation.
TAKE
- sleeping bag +
-camping tent (indoor places are limited)
camping will be permitted in parks, gardens and sport pitches.

DO NOT TAKE
-any kind of camping cookers. Every accomodation area will have cooking
facilities.
