Giovedì 16 febbraio alle 18 alla Casa della Cultura di Milano, conferenza stampa di presentazione della nuova serie di Intrecci, con interventi tra gli altri di Maurizio Chierici, Rodrigo Vergara, Ferruccio Capelli, Daniele Nozzoli.

Intrecci: sguardi sul mondo n. 4/2005-2006 - La salute del pianeta (9'57")

Come ogni anno alla tenuta di San Rossore alle porte di Pisa la Regione Toscana invita a un momento di riflessione sui grandi problemi del millennio.
La salute nel, e del, pianeta, è stata affrontata sia nei suoi aspetti ambientali generali, sia nei suoi riflessi nella vita quotidiana, tanto positivi quanto negativi, da relatorri tanto italiani quanto africani, asiatici e americani. 
Ad alcuni miglioramenti fondamentali nella disponibilità alimentare e nelle aspettative di vita, non sono infatti sempre seguiti progressi corrispondenti sul piano del diritto alla salute e alla qualità del cibo.
Spesso questo è dovuto a interessi economici contrastanti, e aal permanere degli squilibri tra paesi più e meno sviluppati: dal confronto tra le diverse realtà sono nati suggerimenti e proposte in vista di un futuro migliore per tutti.

Intrecci  
il magazine televisivo mensile sui problemi dello sviluppo e i rapporti tra nord e sud del mondo, distribuito dal gennaio 2000 dalla ADN Kronos ad un circuito di 110 televisioni locali, è ripreso dopo due anni di interruzione.
E' visibile anche su Arcoiris TV in rete a http://www.arcoiris.tv/modules.php?name=Unique&id=4035, e su satellite martedì alle 21 (con replica il mercoledì mattina alle 8).

Nelle 39 puntate realizzate tra il 2000 e il 2003, disponibili tutte in videocassetta, abbiamo affrontato temi quali: rifugiati, globalizzazione, debito, diritti umani, flussi migratori, bambini, emergenze umanitarie, ambiente e sviluppo, donne rurali, l'altra Africa, Pechino +5, "In cammino", "Solidarietà a distanza", "Acqua", "Un altro mondo è possibile?", "Cioccolato e caffè", "Popoli indigeni", "Donne e azioni positive", "A Genova!", "Contro il razzismo", "Tra pace e guerra", "Schiavitù vecchie e nuove", "Informazione e sviluppo", "Lontano da casa", "Voci da Porto Alegre", "AIDS in Africa", "Dalla strada alla scuola", "Amazzonia!", "Donne e ambiente", "Sovranità alimentare", "Contadini senza terra", "Italia e America" e "Firenze, Europa, Mondo...", "Guerra e pace in Medio Oriente", "Voci e volti di guerre dimenticate", "Un'altra TV?", "Bambini lavoratori" e "Acqua, bene comune".
Nelle prime tre puntate del 2005-2006: "I Liguri e il Pacifico", "L'anno del microcredito" e "Il futuro della scienza".

Intrecci
è il primo tentativo organico in Italia di dare voce e volti alla realtà del sud del mondo, nei suoi contatti con la nostra; per allargare gli "sguardi" su un mondo sempre più interdipendente, e offrire temi di discussione sui grandi problemi, ancora irrisolti alle soglie del nuovo millennio.
E' promosso dalla ONG Gruppo per le Relazioni Transculturali, con il sostegno del Ministero degli Affari Esteri - Direzione Generale per la Cooperazione allo sviluppo, ed è realizzato dall'Associazione URIHI, a cura di Giovanna Cossia e Marco De Poli.

On Thurday February 18th, at the Casa della Cultura in Milano, a press conference will take place on the occasion of the new series of Intrecci's presentation.

As every year at San Rossore's estate, close to Pisa, a meeting has been arranged by the Regione Toscana in order to discuss the huge problems of the millennium.
Planet's health has been faced both from its environmental aspects and its influence on the everyday life, either positive or negative, from Italian, African, Asian and American rapporteurs.
The few fundamental improvements in food availability and in life expectations have not been followed by a correspondent progress of the access' right to health and food quality.

This is due mainly to the economic contrasting concerns and to the persistent heavy differences between the more and less developed countries: the comparison between the different realities has produced suggestions and proposals in view of a better future for all.

Intrecci 
the monthly TV magazine on development issues and the relation between the North and the South of the world, distributed, as from January 2000 by ADN Kronos to some 100 local TV networks, has started again.

Intrecci
is the first attempt in Italy to show the everyday life of the South of the world and to find points of contact with our reality. The spectators have the possibility to make suggestions and proposals and this will help to broaden our glances out onto a world which is more and more interdependent. They will also be offered the opportunity to discuss problems still unsolved at the beginning of the new millennium.
