URGENTISSIMO RAWA AFGHANISTAN

A SEGUITO DELL'APPELLO URGENTE  della RAWA  chiediamo
a tutti coloro che conoscono il lavoro delle coraggiose donne afghane della
RAWA, di firmare e di inoltrare ENTRO IL 26 NOV. agli indirizzi indicati
qui sotto, la lettera  scritta dalle Donne in Nero di Udine affinchè una
rappresentante della RAWA partecipi con diritto di rappresentanza politica
per le donne afghane indipendentemente dall'appartenenza etinica alla
riunione di Bonn nella delegazione che parlerà del  futuro per l'
Afghanistan promossa dall'ex re Zaher Shah.
Le donne della RAWA lavorano dal 1977rischiando in prima persona per
l'affermazione di una politica basata sui principi della democrazia e della
parità dei diritti fra uomini e donne in Afghanistan

The Bonn (BERLIN) Meeting will be held without inclusion of
RAWA.However,your emails/telephones /faxes  to urge Mr.Brahimi, Mr.Vandrell
and Ms. Karen Hughes, Counselor to the President of the US, to include RAWA
as the true representative of the tortured women of Afghanistan in the
meeting will not go unheard. At least it is worth trying.

TUTTI E TUTTE COLORO I QUELI LO CONDIVIDONO:


Dear Sir,
We have learnt with great indignation that the representatives of RAWA
(Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan) have not been
summoned to the Berlin Meeting Conference.
We think that the representatives of RAWA must take part in it because they
constitute one of the most significant voices of the Afghan society.
Furthermore we think that the membership to the female genus it is not a
fair condition to have the right to represent women, a right that, on the
contrary, RAWA has fully gained.
It is thanks to the women of RAWA if - with political sightedness and great
personal sacrifices - the Taleban's crimes and those of their predecessors
Mujaheddin have been disclosed. Their website has been source of knowledge
and report of the Afghan fanatic and liberticide regime. These women have
proved to the whole world what dignity, coherence and cleverness mean. They
have risked and they are still risking their lives for a concrete struggle,
carried out personally, in the name of democracy, freedom, human rights and
women rights. They have been able to develop a network of human and
political relationship with the Western world. But first of all they have
managed to keep alive in their country the hope in the future and this
thanks to their work - underground in Afghanistan and in the refugee camps
in Pakistan - of health, education and of spreading culture among women.
