La terza edizione del Premio Africa e Mediterraneo

REALISEE PAR DES AUTEURS AFRICAINS
2005-2006

Un concours est ouvert pour l'assignation du Prix Africa e Mediterraneo
pour la Meilleure Bande Dessinée Inédite par des Auteurs Africains. Auteurs
nés en Afrique (Afrique du Nord et Afrique Subsaharienne) peuvent
participer au Prix Africa e Mediterrano, qui est à son troisième édition et
est composé par trois sections dont le titres sont: «bande dessinée
créative à sujet libre», «bande dessinée sur les droits de l'homme» et
«bande dessinée sur les histoires de migration». Les bandes dessinées
peuvent être en N/B ou en couleurs, les histoires peuvent être de 4
planches maximum et de format maximum 35 cm x 50 cm. La technique est
libre. Les BD devront arriver au plus tard le 15 novembre 2005. Le premier
classé de chaque section recevra respectivement 600 euro et la publication
d'un album personnel de 32-48 pages. Les vainqueurs seront invités à
l'inauguration d'une exposition présentant les travaux reçus. La
participation au concours est complètement gratuite. Le règlement et la

REGLEMENT

1. Un concours est ouvert pour l'assignation du prix "Africa e
Mediterraneo" pour la meilleure bande dessinée inédite d'un auteur né en
Afrique (Afrique du Nord and Afrique Subsaharienne) ou résident en Afrique,
avec trois sections dont les titres sont : "bande dessinée créative à sujet
libre", "bande dessinée sur les Droits de l'Homme" et "bande dessinée sur
les histoires de migration".

2. Par "bande dessinée créative à sujet libre" nous entendons une bande
dessinée de genre (polar, fantastique, de divertissement, etc.) et sujet
librement choisis par l'auteur ; par "bande dessinée sur les Droits de
l'Homme" nous entendons une bande dessinée ayant un rapport avec la
violation et/ou la tutelle des Droits de l'Homme ; par "bande dessinée sur
les histoires de migration" nous entendons une bande dessinée qui
représente le processus migratoire (le projet migratoire, le voyage,
l'intégration, le succès et l'échec dans le travail).

3. Les bandes dessinées peuvent être en N/B ou en couleurs, les histoires
peuvent être de 4 planches maximum et de format maximum 35x50 cm. La
technique est libre. Les ¦uvres avec des textes en langues africaines ou en
langue arabe doivent être accompagnées d'une traduction en anglais, ou en
français ou en português. Le participant peut envoyer jusqu'à un maximum de
3 ¦uvres pour chaque section ("bande dessinée créative à sujet libre",
"bande dessinée sur les Droits de l'Homme" et "bande dessinée sur les
histoires de migration"). Les ¦uvres doivent être inédites, doivent être
des originaux et doivent être envoyées par la poste. Merci de bien vouloir
accompagner les ¦uvres par le formulaire de demande et une fiche présentant
l'auteur (date et lieu de naissance, adresse et téléphone, e-mail, un
curriculum vitae synthétique).

4. Un seul prix est prévu pour chaque section. Les premiers classés des
trois sections "bande dessinée libre", "bande dessinée sur les Droits de
l'Homme" et "bande dessinée sur les histoires de migration" recevront
respectivement 600 euro et la publication d'un album personnel de 32-48
pages. Les vainqueurs seront invités à l'inauguration d'une exposition
réalisée en Europe présentant les travaux reçus.
Les BD devront arriver au plus tard le 15 novembre 2005. Ensuite le Jury
attribuera les prix. Les meilleures ¦uvres des trois sections,
sélectionnées par le Jury, seront publiées par l'association Africa e
Mediterraneo et par les Editions Lai-Momo. L'association "Africa e
Mediterraneo" s'engage à exposer en Italie les ¦uvres des participants.
En outre, les meilleures ¦uvres seront publiées sur le site
www.africacomics.net

5. Le Jury sera composé par des spécialistes de la bande dessinée
(dessinateurs, experts) et par des rédacteurs de la revue Africa e
Mediterraneo.

6. La participation au concours est complètement gratuite.

7. Les vainqueurs seront contactés; tous les participants recevront les
informations sur les résultats du concours par e-mail. Les planches
envoyées pour le concours pourront être renvoyées aux auteurs avec le
paiement du service postal. Sinon les planches seront conservée dans les
archives de Africa e Mediterraneo qui se réserve le droit de publication.

AFRICA E MEDITERRANEO AWARD

The Africa e Mediterraneo Association is launching the contest for the
Africa e Mediterraneo Award for Best Unpublished Comic Strip by African
Author. The contest is open to every African citizen living in or out of
Africa (both North and Sub-Saharan Africa). The contest is in its third
edition and includes three sections: "creative comic story - free subject",
"comic story on human rights" and "stories of migration". The comic stories
must be unpublished and can be in B/W and/or in colour, maximum length 4
pages, maximum format 35 x 50cm. The deadline for the reception of the

Euro and the publication of a personal album of 32-48 pages. The winners
will be invited as special guests at the exhibition of the artworks. The

Notice

1. Africa e Mediterraneo is launching a contest for best unpublished comic

freely choose the subject (i.e. spy story, thriller, fantastic, fiction,
fantasy etc.); while "comic story on human rights" limits the narrative
subject of the comic story to the area of human rights; the "story of
migration" section refers to comics stories dealing with significant stages
of migration process (migration projects, integration, success and failure
in the work field).

3. The comic stories must be unpublished and can be in B/W and/or in
colour, maximum length 4 pages, maximum format 35 x 50cm. The technique is
open. Works with texts in African languages or in Arab must have a
translation in English or French or Portuguese. The authors can send a
maximum of 3 comic stories for each section ("creative comic story - free
subject", "comic story on human rights" and "stories of migration"). The
artworks in original, along with the application form and a biographical
sketch of the author, must be sent by post to the following address:

4. Prizes. A single prize for each category will be awarded. The prize'
winner of each section will receive 600 Euro and the publications of a
personal album of 32-48 pages. The deadline for the reception of the
artworks is 15 November 2005. Then, the jury will select the winners of
each section. The best works of each section will be published by Lai-momo
Coop, and Africa e Mediterraneo Association. The best works of each section
will be shown on the website www.africacomics.net. Africa e Mediterraneo
will curate an exhibition of the artworks in Italy. The prize winners will
be the special guests at the exhibition of the artworks.

5. The jury will be constituted by contributors for the journal Africa e
Mediterraneo plus comics specialists.

6. The participation in the contest is completely free, and there are no
charges.

7. The prize winners will be contacted; all the participants will receive
information about the contest via e-mail. The materials sent will be
returned on demand, at the charge of the author; alternatively they will
remain on file with "Africa e Mediterraneo", that can decide to publish
them.

E' aperto il concorso per l'assegnazione del Premio Africa e Mediterraneo
per il Migliore Fumetto Inedito di Autore Africano. Il Premio Africa e
Mediterraneo, a cui possono prendere parte cittadini africani o autori nati
in Africa (sia Nord Africa che Africa sub-sahariana), è giunto alla sua
terza edizione e si compone di tre sezioni dal titolo "fumetto creativo a
soggetto libero", "diritti umani" e "storie di migrazione". I fumetti
possono essere in bianco e nero e/o a colori, le storie di max 4 tavole di
formato 35x50 cm e devono arrivare entro il 15 novembre 2005. Il premio per
ognuna delle tre sezioni è costituito da una somma di denaro pari a 600
euro e dalla pubblicazione di un album personale di 32-48 pagine. I
vincitori saranno invitati all'inaugurazione della mostra che presenterà i
lavori pervenuti. La partecipazione al concorso è gratuita. Il regolamento
