In some parts of Africa, people are fast experiencing the negative effects 
of arms' proliferation. This is especially true in such countries as Sudan, 
Somalia, Burundi, Rwanda, Congo RDC

A crisis of identity is now facing the people of northern Sudan

Gabon - Gabon sends its industrial waste to France
The excessive extraction of minerals for 40 years, in order to answer the 
needs of the industrialised nations, is the cause of the accumulation of 
millions of tons of harmful industrial waste. The Gabonese authorities have 
signed an agreement for their treatment in France. A "first" for that country

Zambia - Children in need
In the next couple of years, there could be as many as one million orphans 
and vulnerable children in Zambia

Zambia - Revising the Constitution
The Constitution is any country's basic and fundamental law. Zambia is now 
embarked on yet another constitutional review path, so a wide consultation 
is imperative

Malawi - Asylum seekers pose security threat
Refugees from neighbouring countries in conflict are illegally taking over 
Malawi's businesses and engaging in corrupt as well as illicit business 
deals. The poorly equipped authorities are having difficulties in 
containing these illegal immigrants

Tunisia - Human development and the struggle against poverty
This article should have appeared in our January "Special Issue". However,

une convention pour leur traitement en France. Une première.

bien du mal à maîtriser...

L'article suivant aurait dû paraître dans notre "Spécial" du 1er janvier. 
Etant arrivé avec un "petit" retard, nous sommes heureux de pouvoir le 
publier maintenant.
